I love this song- its sound, its message, and its unexpected singer! When I hear it I feel awakened; it’s like jazzercise for the soul. It screams, “Get up, do something!” It inspires me to start checking things off that long to-do list that I often put off until “one day”. We may all have these lists- get to the gym, de-clutter the garage, go green, volunteer, change a life. As difficult as it may be to imagine a world that Matisyahu sings about, where there is no more war, this song inspires me to be a small part of reaching that bigger “one day”.
